All eye examinations, as well as treatments, are performed by our physician Bernard Mrak, MD, ophthalmology specialist with 20 years of experience. Along with vast experience in laser treatment of the anterior segment of the eye, he has even longer experience in the diagnosis and laser treatment of posterior eye segment. He is one of the few experts in laser eye surgery, who uses all available state-of-the-art eye lasers.
His surgeon and medical career began in MC Ogulin, where he worked as a junior surgical doctor, who took care of surgical, ophthalmic, ENT and gynecological problems, including obstetrics – independently, and in more complex cases as an assistant. He held several management positions in MC Ogulin (Head of Internal Medicine; Procurator of Director of MC; Member of the Business Council; President of the Workers’ Council). He has been learning ophthalmology in Clinical Hospital Centre KBC Rijeka, until today, and in Clinical Hospital Centre KBC Rebro – Zagreb. Since 2002, he is an associate in Polyclinic Tagore. He is still working in the same ordination as the part of Laser RI Polyclinic. Doctor Mrak is the member of the European Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS) and Croatian Society for Cataract and Refractive Surgery (CSCRS).

Otkako sam napravio operaciju, lakše mi je raditi i provodim kvalitetnije svoje slobodno vrijeme. Imao sam dioptrije -2,75 i -3,75. I am very satisfied with my vision and operation in the polyclinic Laser RI. I definitely recommend it. Before the surgery I had eyeglasses for distance +1.50 and +2.50, and the other for reading and I wanted to feel free again to watch and live without glasses. After the operation, I experienced no pain or any problems, even though I had to go through laser surgery of the eye’s surface. Only 12 hours after the surgery, I could see distant and close objects very well, and I still do.
Thanks to Laser RI Polyclinic, I am a new man. Few years ago I had cataract operation. After the operation, due to weak cornea, I had blurred vision and constant pain and gouging in my left eye. The contact lenses minimized these problems, but I had to go to hospital every month to put new ones. Since my operation in Laser RI, my eye doesn’t hurt at all and I don’t need contact lenses. I even see more clearly. I'm very pleased.
I really wanted to get rid of glasses and contact lenses and, with laser surgery, remove my minus 4.50 diopters and cylinder.
